Discuss it

Use the questions printed on the back of the card, or create your own, to guide the child in analyzing the details of the image and reflecting on what they observe.

Amazing deck for SEL and beyond!
I have loved using these with my 5 year old son for his language development (he has a delay, but has improved greatly). Iâve been using them to help him identify and describe what heâs seeing, interpreting the story from visual clues, and also the social emotional learning component. The scenarios prompt children to think about how the characters feel and why they feel that way. Then children can reflect on how they would feel or what they would do in the same situation. These cards have been great for him, and the scenarios range from simple/ obvious to more complex/subtle scenarios. I also use them with my 9 y.o. , only for the SEL part, just to talk about feelings. The animal drawings are really engaging and expressive, so kudos to the illustrator! This is a great product on many levels, and 2 of my sonâs specialists took photos of the deck to buy them to use with clients.

Set is very nice and well made. I bought for my grandson,who was a little delayed in his speech. The truth is, just have any conversation and find out what they like, they will talk. This pack says is good for 3 year old. I ended up playing eye spy and my grandson speaks. When he has trouble with a word I helped him. He can count,knows his colors.. conversation with your children so important
