Multiple days of fun!!
This kit is fantastic! It kept my easily distracted, 8 year old son busy and interested over multiple days. Like coming home from school and instead of wanting the iPad, he was very excited to do experiments instead. There is a big variety of experiments. The instructions are easy to follow, but it was definitely a success working with a parent. Of all the National Geographic science/art sets that Iâve bought, this one is the very best!

Fun experiments for the science lover!
I bought this for my nine-year-old daughter. She loves science and loves doing experiments and crafts. The box has a lot of different experiments you can do. It explains it all very well along and teaches why the reactions are happening in the little booklet.Most of them she is able to do by herself, but some of them I have had to help her with.Some of the experiments can be quite messy, but there is a glove provided and goggles for your child to wear. I would just recommend putting down some plastic or newspaper before you start your projects.Some of the experiments you will simply throw away afterwards like the changing colored liquids. But some of them you get to keep like the homemade bouncy ball.

Great Gift Idea
Grandson loved this set! Heâs our aspiring scientist, so I got this for him for his recent birthday. There are a lot of projects to keep him busy and expand his knowledge. Itâs educational, but still fun and keeps him engaged in the present moment instead of being on video games and internet all day. A little pricy but still a great value for all that it comes with and hours of learning and experimenting. Gotta love quality National Geographic products for kids!
