Great learning option
I loved this for my five and seven year old. I leave it in the car for them to play on car rides. It makes for a friendly competition.

Good buy!
Great game for younger kids! my son is 5 and in Kindergarten and this was a great game to play while learning and practicing school work!

Great for younger/novice readers
4 stars because there are only 2 difficulty levels and 2 different games with basic sight words. It wasn’t long before it became too easy for my daughter. This device is great for very beginner or novice readers.

Great learning tool
Both my son and daughter use this for sight words. Itâs fun and educational for them, as they are both competitive and like to go against each other. They are 7 and 9.

Disappointing
Cute concept, but they did not use âsight words.â My daughter is trying to figure out tricky words like could, both, thereâ¦she is a beginner and I really wanted traditional site words. It does have two levels, but I think they are both equally hard. It is colorful, good size for travel, sound quality is fine, medium durability. She did have fun, but I noticed since there is not much difference between the levels, she just tries out buttons when it is a hard word and she is frustrated. It does have a bit of a lag if she pushes the buttons too quickly, so it does not function quickly. Item is âokay,â for the price but I donât think she will learn much from it.

Great learning game for those up to 2nd grade
Great product fun game, was hoping for high level words, this has 2 levels 1-2 grade, my son was eager to play the game completed both levels first try. The colors , lights, structure, and sound is engaging keeps kids attention, interactive, fun way to practice words for any child !

Battery compartment impossible to open twice!
Impossible to open the battery compartment! I bought one and tried 5 different screwdrivers all very close to the right size but the screw was already stripped. No problem, returned it and bought a new one. Came today, same problem! How are people getting this battery compartment open?! I canât even get the screw to turn and the metal is so soft it strips immediately.

This is a well made and durable electronic spelling game with 2 modes which have 2 levels each. You need to find the missing letter to make the correct word. There’s a clear American voice and easy to read screens showing the words and letters. My 6 year old loves reading and enjoyed it, finding it quite easy. Therefore I would recommend it for primary school age only as it wouldn’t be challenging enough for older kids. So overall a great little gadget to help kids with their spelling in a fun way!

My son made good use of this on our screen-less vacation. Great for sight word recognition for early readers. Words are a bit hard to see, which is why I gave it a 4.
