Great game for Mistborn fans and non-fans alike
I will start out by saying that I am a Brando-Sando groupie. I have immersed myself in most all of his books and lore. I thought that this game was super well designed to be fun, strategic and sticks to the lore of Mistborn. I would say it similar to several other deckbuilder games I have played. Not a whole lot different the main mechanics. What it does do differently is require the burning or flaring of metals to play cards. This adds a very strategic component to the game. This game operates well multiplayer, coop or solo. The RNG plays a huge factor in the difficulty of each play mode. I have played multiplayer, coop and solo where I dominated and other times, I got demolished. The design of the game is great where it provides the right balance of challenge. Not too hard or easy. It all just depends on what cards you are able to build your deck with. This would be a great gift for anyone who enjoys Brandon Sanderson’s Mistborn novels as well as someone who knows nothing about them. Your background knowledge of the novels has nothing to do with being able to play the game. It is just cohesive with the world and lore in the book if you have read it.

Great game!
Great game! Kids love it, and was easy enough for them to understand. Has a few different modes including coop and single player. Love the book series so itâs fun to play a game based off of it.

A great game for all you Metal-burning Mistborns out there!
I was nervous that this was going to be a mid-tier game with a Mistborn coat of paint on top of it. But I was happily surprised that it is actually a fun game! The cards themselves have some really cool artwork on them that can really bring the Mistborn books to life. The inclusion of Shan as a playable character was…interesting, and the color of her health dial and of Marsh’s does not seem to fit. But other than that, the artwork is superb. The game is a bit complex and takes some time to learn and teach. This would not be a great game to learn if you haven’t played a deck builder before. But once you understand the mechanics, it is fun to choose a strategy and try to defeat your friends. The metal-burning mechanic helps to limit the amount of actions you can do in a turn w/out making your cards feel useless, and at the end of my first game, all 3 players felt very close to a victory. I haven’t played co-op mode or solo mode yet, but I am excited to try.Warning: The game mechanics and cards do spoil content from the first Mistborn books. Some card artwork and names spoil events or characters from Mistborn books 2 and 3; however, these are minor spoilers and someone who hasn’t read the books would likely not realize the spoiler for what it was. Therefore, I only recommend this game to those who have read at least the first in the series.

Great game, but could use some expansions / tweaks
Husband and I are both fans of the series, and the theming and artwork of this game are top notch. The game play has been entertaining so farâvery similar to Hogwarts Battle, which is one of our favorites. We do feel like this game will have limited replay value as is (since there is not a ton of variability), but it has plenty of potential for expansions that would make it more interesting and challenging. Our biggest critique so far is that it seems like in PvP mode (weâve only played with 2 players so far), it is far too easy to win by completing the missions vs either of the other methods. There seem to be quite a few more cards for mission completion in comparison to cards with attack points. We may try to modify the game by taking out a few cards that seem to make the mission track OP, or by adding a requirement to complete more missions.

Fun and variable game with a good challenge
Really fun game! Have only played it with 2 people so far, but both versus and co-op gameplay modes are fun. The Lord Ruler is appropriately difficult to defeat, but doable. Excited to play this with a group of 3-4. Game takes longer than it says on the box, but once you learn it pace of play is good.

Must buy for any deck building fans
Purchased after playing a friends copy. I was surprised at how high quality the materials for this game are. I have now played this game 7 times in the two weeks Iâve had it and itâs been a blast. It has a solo/co-op mode that is a ton of fun but also decently challenging, and then they also have a pvp mode that is insanely fun and is a great way to try out different character builds. Crazy amount of replay value for the price.

Great deckbuilding game
Great deckbuilding game set in the Mistborn universe. The art and the references are 10/10. The cooperative game mode is awesome and a good way to change the pace.

Combination of Pokémon, 7 wonders, and Splendor
Fantastic game. Very complicated upfront, but start by reading through the entire instructions, then playing a solo game. That will help you run through and figure out how the game works, and allow you to teach others better. Loved every bit of it. The game is kind of a combination of Splendor, and Pokémon, and 7 wonders put together.

Such a fantastic game! I have recently finished the original Mistborn trilogy and came across this boardgame so knew I had to give it a go and I couldn’t be happier. The game does a great job of bring the feel of the books to a game like setting, having to manage the use of my own metals in order to maximise the amount of damage or coinage I can gain really made me feel like I was in the world.I also really enjoy the fact that this can be played either competitively where you are battling it out to see who is the better Mistborn or collaboratively to fight against the Lord ruler. The latter definitely being my preferred style, trying to work together to slowly complete missions in order to hamper the Lord ruler’s healing ability was so tense and it does a great job of showing the power difference between even 4 Mistborn and the Lord ruler!Excellent game all around and would highly recommend!

O produto demorou chegar mas visto todos os imprevistos chegou somente com um pequeno amassado no canto da tampa da caixa, fora isso chegou em perfeito estado.
