Magic wand is magically delightful!!
My daughter had a developmental eval done where they needed to get and maintain her attention. For little ones these settings can be tough when you consider new people, new surroundings, and difficult requests. When I saw how much interest she showed so quickly I immediately had to have one!It’s amazing! The batteries it came with lasted *maybe* two hours lol Nothing a screwdriver and 3 AA batteries couldn’t fix! When I replaced the batteries, I saw the ones that had been in there weren’t a name brand (or at least not one I recognized)Once I replaced the batteries, they’ve so far lasted 3 days – so I’d say, plan to replace them pretty early on …but once you do, it’s not like they’ll drain that fast moving forward.The spinning of the star with lights causes a bit of vibration and sound – great for sensory input and development! She’s also slightly teething and I’ve noticed she enjoys putting it against her gums as it’s running.The first one I ordered came damaged. The way it appeared, it was damaged in transit – but the replacement was hassle free and shipment was prompt! Absolutely no complaints from me as far as that goes. Life happens and the way things were handled was exceptional.The absolute only downside I have is after about 5 to 10 minutes of use it tends to start warming up to the touch. So it’s not going to be a toy I’d give her during something like say, a car ride, where it might be difficult to take back if it were getting too warm. We usually give it to her for a period of time then just check it to feel how warm it is and either turn it off or hold onto it for a bit before giving it back.She loves it though! When she saw me take it out of the box (she was busy at the time.and I thought I was being quiet lol) she screeched for joy and frantically started reaching for it from across the room lol she knew exactly what it was. She’s extremely possessive when it comes to this wand and it’s going to now be one of our big deal toys for muscle work and calming/distraction after immunizations.For the price, it’s a steal. Even if I had to purchase one of these a month, it’d be a steal.I don’t however think it’s built for durability. I’d say, be prepared to replace *fairly* often. Maybe not once a month, but if you’re using it daily like we do, maybe once every 2-3 months.

Lasted 2 years with toddlers!
Got this for my 8m old daughter. It’s lasted two years later plus a 1 year old brother. It’s been dropped hundreds of times. Cracked, smacked, and then some. And somehow it’s only now stopped working. First the top half lights stopped, then the clear ball opened and no longer let the star spin. After a few days of that, it finally let go. Reordering with hope that the next will last as long.

I have 3 kids. 6 yrs, 3 yrs, and 9 months. They all love this toy. Glad I bought two. My two boys love using this as a magic power toy. My 9 month old turns on the lights and puts her face against the sphere. Or she bites it and the mild vibrations feel fun for her. I even want one, this is really a fun toy. Great value for the price.

Great item to bring for entertaining small kiddos!
Kept my 18 month old son and 2 year old niece entertained on an airplane for hours! They both loved this thing. Unfortunately due to typical toddler use itâs already breaking after having it for 2 weeks now. Iâm not shocked, my son throws this thing around all the time. The button to turn it on works 1/2 the time and sometimes the toy will turn on just by brushing up against the button. So, if youâre buying this for a child under 4 donât expect it to last long, that being said Iâd still buy it again ð

Cute fun toy for granddaughter
Got this for my 2 yr old granddaughter. Her eyes lit up as bright as the toy when we showed her how it worked. It was a hit! Seems solid and safe. Simple fun. Brightly colored and a good size for her to hold. It spins really fast and the lights are very bright.

Toy broke with only adult use
This is one of my favorite and frequently purchased items for pediatric infant physical therapy use. This one didnât even last 3 weeks. I missed the return window and changed the batteries and it still doesnât work. Bummer.

Don’t work after batteries ran out
They worked great when we first got them. But after changing the batteries I couldn’t get them to work at all. I tried multiple different types of batteries and nothing is working. 1 works if I put 1 of the batteries it came with in the 1 slot that needs the negative upright. The the other just won’t work at all.. very disappointed since there are great when they work till batteries need replaced.

Great sensory toy
I got this for my nephew with autism and he loved it! It came with batteries already installed and in addition to the fun lights, it vibrates a bit which my nephew also liked. It doesnât have any music which was a priority while I was looking through different products. Definitely worth the price!

Received this literally 30 minutes before this negative review. Already started the return process. Item did not work at all. I always have fresh batteries at home (with battery testers) and the item is dead on arrival.Extremely poor build quality like most of âMade in Chinaâ stuff on Amazon now. I bought this for a photography project, if youâre buying this as a toyFor child PLEASE DO NOT! This will break in childâs hands and they could get injured.
