Our classic game of Charades is designed especially for kids to play and enjoy! With three levels of clues, kids of all ages can participate. Each card has a clue with a picture, so no reading is required (although the combination of the picture and its corresponding word reinforces early reading skills). Act out a toothbrush, a cat or a bumble Bee! Older children can read the simple words and phrases and act out actions like eating spaghetti or playing guitar! This game is great for the whole family to play together. Charades of kids includes: 150 charade cards, sand timer, game die and complete instructions. Fun for 3 or more players ages 4 and up.

Great Activity for Family
My kids, ages 5 and 3, really enjoy Charades for Kids. Â The images make it easy for emergent readers to engage independently. Â Most items are known to the kids and can be acted out independently as well. Â I found it to be a great way to engage everyone! Â Itâs also a great gift to keep on hand.

Perfect family game
We saw the Bluey episode of “Charades” and of course my kids (6yo and 3yo) NEEDED to be able to play charades. I bought these and they fit the bill perfectly.Each card has 3 different charades written to act out and one picture. If your child can read, they can choose one or do all three. If your child is younger and can’t read yet, they can look at the picture and act it out.So far, it’s been a fun family game that fills our time during this pandemic while our state isn’t fully open yet.My one issue with it, I wish there was a better stand that came with it to hold the cards. It comes in a small box and plastic card case, but the cards spill over easily and doesn’t make for ease of use while playing.

Highlight of our family game night!
With two young children (2 and 5), this game is perfect for our game nights! Some of the pictures are actually kind of difficult but kids have their own interpretation so that just makes it more fun to see their creativity come alive.There’s a ton of cards that barely fit into the tray, so we store it in those heavy duty zipper bags that every Amazon influencer promotes. We don’t even need the dice or timer at this point but I can see us getting years of use out of it.

I remember the first time we played Charades for Kids, my son was so excited to pick a card. He chose a dog, and immediately started barking around the living room. I love how this simple little game can bring so much joy, playfulness, and creativity.
