So much information!!!
This book initially feels overwhelming with all the small pieces and stickers- BUT it is such a cool and interesting interactive book! I got it for my 3 year old niece and she loves it and has absorbed so much information! Make sure to supervise – donât do alone but let them help place stickers

Missing pieces
UPDATE: customer service did respond back to me and take care of the mistake that was made and I have adjusted my rating to show that! My daughter loves the book and itâs allowed for good teaching opportunities for me!Just finished putting this together for my daughter and it is very cute and seems well-made, However, it is missing pieces and instead they sent me duplicates of others I already had. I am hoping to get this resolved with the company. I have sent them a message regarding this issue but have not heard back yet. I will update my Review if it is resolved well. Putting this together takes a lot of work and time so Iâm really hoping to not have to return it and put it together again.

Cute & fun idea, but not complete/ correct
First, I will start by saying that there is quite a bit of assembly at start. You have to adhere the Velcro to each of the pieces and each part of the board. Mine did not come with directions and for someone who is unfamiliar with human anatomy, it may be more difficult to assemble. It took me about an hour to put together but my daughter (4) really enjoyed helping me place the adhesives. There are a bunch of pieces and I keep them organized in zip lock baggies sectioned by groups.Second, the book is well made, cute, and colorful. It serves its purpose for toddler use and it makes learning about the human body fun for kids. I chose this book primarily because it discusses healthy and unhealthy habits and I thought it would be a nice opening to talk about these things in homeschooling. However – I might be pickier because Iâm in the medical profession BUT Iâm annoyed? (I donât know if thatâs the right word) that the human anatomy is not complete or accurate. For example, thereâs multiple organs missing is the diagram and the heart and other organs are not in the correct place. Thereâs also sections of the brain that arenât discussed or pointed out. I did notice that thereâs a section in digestive health that talks about the missing organs and I understand that this was more than likely due to constrained space. I suppose I just had an expectation? that it would be more anatomically complete and correct.

My 6-Year-Old Now Knows Where His Spleen Is (And Reminds Me Constantly)
If youâve ever wanted your child to casually drop the word âesophagusâ into dinner conversation, this is the book for you.I bought this busy book for my 6-year-old because I figured it was time he learned thereâs more to the human body than just boogers and bellybuttons. Not only did this book deliver â itâs now the busiest thing in our household (second only to my childâs bladder, apparently).Itâs colorful, interactive, and shockingly durable â which is important because itâs been dropped, stepped on, and once, horrifyingly, used as a makeshift plate for chicken nuggets (donât worry, it wiped clean like a champ). The flaps and pop-ups kept my son entertained for longer than any screen â and he now proudly points to his kidneys and announces, âThese are my filters!â like a very small, slightly alarming doctor.Weâve had real conversations about the heart, lungs, and even digestion â and by âreal,â I mean he once compared the large intestine to a âweird slide for poop.â Science! If you’re looking for something educational, engaging, and just the right amount of gross to make it kid-approved, this book is a must. Bonus: I now have a tiny personal trainer who yells âUse your muscles!â when I reach for the remote.Highly recommend â 10/10, would let my kid educate strangers about the pancreas again.

Durable and fun
Very fun book to learn with. There is somewhat tedious assembly required, but I am weird and I enjoy that kind of assembly process. Material is thick and durable, and the stickers are still on and itâs still going strong after many months of aggressive pulling. And my kid now knows more about the human body than I do!

Excellent!
I literally can’t sing its praises enough. This sparked so much curiosity and interest in my 4 year old, she’s dying to learn everything! She understands digestion, the lobes of the brain, all she wants to do is watch SciShow kids. A lot of people said it was annoying that the parts need to be set up, but I actually made that an activity unto itself. We made a human body on black construction paper with q tips for the bones. She wants to just do activity after activity. It does come with pouches to keep all of the parts, but a nicer case to keep all the pouches and the book would’ve been more appreciated.
