Great for adventures!
I am so impressed with this little set. I bought two of these for my sons to take camping and hunt for critters. One kiddo caught one bug. It was something fairly basic like a rolly polly. It was a catch and release. Yes, we could see the bug well. But what has me so impressed is how durable all of the pieces are. At one point the tweezers were used for digging. The bug-catcher-scissor-type things were used for carrying around bouncy balls. The bug habitat has been repeatedly filled with rocks and dirt. And nothing has broken, yet. This has entertained both of my boys for hours while camping. A must have for my family!

Great Camping Surprise, but One Flaw
I ordered this bug catcher kit as a surprise for a camping trip with my 4-year-old grandson, who absolutely loves bugs. He was thrilled! With a little help, he caught plenty of bugsâeven a few butterfliesâand was engaged for many hours a day.He especially loved the bubble tongs and used the net mainly for butterflies. He wasnât very interested in the tweezers, but the kit overall was a big hit.The only downside was that one of the small plastic pins that secure the lid latch broke within just a couple of days. My grandson is a very gentle, calm child and carried it around carefully with his beloved bugs, so I believe the pin just wasnât sturdy enough. We ended up using duct tape to keep the lid secure.Itâs a fun and exciting kit for curious little explorersâjust wish the plastic lid pin was made a bit more durable.

Product Was Good
I bought this kit for my sisters and I to use as a habitat for the butterflies we captured. Do be warned that it is quite small, but itâs the perfect size for a ton of bugs. It comes with other features as well, such as scissors for capturing insects and tweezers. This product was durable, but my sisters broke it soon after we bought it. It kept my sisters outside, so itâs very enjoyable for little ones who are fascinated with insects. It performed well and it was worth the money.

Bought this for my great nephew’s birthday. He loves wildlife and the outdoors. He thought it was amazing and couldn’t wait to start bug hunting. Great idea and quality excellent. Can highly recommend and would say even children of 3 and up would love it and would be safe as sure parents etc would watch them. Perfect gift for the inquisitive child and lovely to be able to keep bugs, snails etc without killing them and once seen enough release them and find more.
