Perfect for kids who live board games
The 5 year old LOVES this game. He calls it “who broke the toy” instead of clue, but whatever. He always wants to play board games, but many are too advanced for him. I love that this game helps him grasp the basics and then we can transition to Clue. The 3 year old plays it too, but he is not quite as capable yet. I love that it teaches them problem solving and deduction skills.

We bought Clue Jr. for our 5-year-old to enjoy during family game night, and it ended up being a fun experience for everyone. The game reminded us of a mix between Enchanted Forest and Outfoxed with a similar mystery-solving feel. While the concept can be tricky to grasp at first, once you start playing, it becomes easier to follow. A helpful tip: avoid crossing out all the possible toys after identifying the perpetrator, which can lead to confusion later in the game. The game is engaging, and the process of crossing out clues on the provided sheets adds to the fun. That said, the rules can be a bit hard to interpret initially, and playing with younger kids means thereâs a risk of pieces getting knocked over and accidentally revealing answers, which can disrupt the game. This is such a good game for kids and for parents to play with them. I bought a bunch of games and this was one of them to play with my daughter and it is wonderful. I’m glad I bought. It is really worth it. She played with her friend as well and they loved it. Board games are great this one is definitely worth adding to the group.

Such a fun game from my childhood! Itâs a variation and more âkid friendlyâ than the version from the 90s I played. Very easy to understand and fun for the family. My 6 year old had no problem solving the mystery without any extra assistance.
