Kid Walkie Talkies: Super Cute, Fun, and Easy to Use!
This product is EXACTLY what I was looking for: One button for communicating back and forth, an on/off switch, and an antenna that doesn’t bend or swivel in any way. It requires batteries & is not a rechargable item. It is made of plastic and is durable enough for an eight or eighty year old. The functionality is super simple and easy to operate. Definitely kid friendly and handy, even for adults who are interested in a simple design that doesn’t have a lot of stations to find and coordinate with the other device. I wasn’t looking for a cheap product, just one that was affordable and easy on the wallet…And I found it!In the future, we may splurge on a different design, but for now, this product meets and exceeds all of my expectations for a fun, easy and convenient product to use for little hands and peace of mind for the family. When each of us is in a room at opposite ends of our home, it’s better to use a walkie to communicate, than it is to yell and disturb everyone else.Which was perfect for what we were looking for. The sound is perfect and not too loud. Impressive For What They Are
I am pretty impressed with these HT’s. Perfect for young kids who want to play soldier, police, or anything their little imaginations can dream up. They aren’t rugged in any way, but for the price point, you can’t really complain about that.I couldn’t find what frequency these little guys transmitted on in any documentation I could find, so I had to fire up ye old gqrx, and I am glad I did! Where these guys shine is in their performance RF-wise. For as inexpensive as this radio is, it is tuned really well. As you can see in the screenshot, there is mild harmonics, but nothing near what I expected. The audio quality is not great, but it is effortlessly intelligible.For posterity, these HT’s TX on FRS01 (462.5625 MHz) ONLY. So if you have a Midland or other radio, go to channel 1 and you will be able to talk with your kids!

As a mom of four, ages 5-10, we have been through MANY sets of walkie talkies over the years, many brands. These are hands down the best weâve had.The number one reason is because of how simple and uncomplicated they are. There is literally one button to push and and itâs easy for all size of hands to use. There are no channels to change, which means you donât have to worry about the kids accidentally changing channels from each other and then unable to figure out why the walkie talkies âarenât working anymore.âThey have great range, the sound quality is great, and they are simple to use.Weâve had these for several weeks and have had absolutely no issues. Would recommend. 10/10.Donât fall for cuter ones with more buttons bc they wonât last. Those cute little buttons get stuck or break off.My 10 year old and her friends love these as much as the 5 year olds that I bought them for, do.

We bought the Kids Walkie Talkies for our boys, but our girls had even more fun with them! Not sure why theyâre advertised specifically for boys since the blue color is just as appealing to girls too. ð¤â Great fun for all agesâ Clear sound qualityâ Easy to useDefinitely recommend these for any kid, regardless of gender! Would rate 5 stars if it werenât for the way it’s advertised. Otherwise, a solid product!
